M Family - Grayslake Family Photographer

Another better than perfect fall day for this gorgeous family session.    I had a great time working with this family and getting that cute little baby to smile.

Above is one of the very first shots, a warm up shot and look at how great everyone did.  :)

Smile - Grayslake Family Photographer

This Fall has been just amazing for me. I have a lot to smile about. I am also reminded that I receive from the Universe far more than I give.  Time to start thinking about how I can give more.

This sweet family lives just down the street from me and was referred to me by one of the new, wonderful families I have photographed recently.  I love how that works, so much better than traditional advertising.

Fall Fun - Grayslake Family Photographer

The G Family is one of my favorite families to photograph.  I've known this beautiful mama since our fun college years together.  I enjoy making the voyage into the city just for them and seeing how much the boys have grown in one year.  These little cuties gave me a run for my money this time around - I think they did last time too... HA!

S Family - Grayslake Family Photographer

My October family sessions are all booked - a first for me.  In large part I owe it to my wonderful friends.  They believe in me so much, not only do they allow me to take their family pictures but they refer their friends to me as well.
It was so much fun taking these and getting to know the S Family.

Fall Beach Session - Grayslake Family Photographer

There were so many great shots from this session it was so hard to pick a few.  It has been even harder to narrow down which images will be edited for the gallery.  My beautiful friend picked the perfect location.  How did I get so blessed with so many amazing friends?

Witnessing love in action! 

Not only has this beautiful mama made a lot of healthy lifestyle changes this year, she has also started working out side the home again.  After being a stay at home mom for such a long time, it is a courageous change.  I know her family is so proud of her, especially her hubby.

V Family - Grayslake Family Photographer

Family sessions are so much fun! Especially when the family you are photographing has a special place in your heart.  The beautiful mom seen here is part of my village.  I am beyond grateful for the privilege to call her friend.

The other day I shared with my friend that I was thinking about putting down my camera for a little while.  She had encouraging thoughts and ideas, like good friends do.  But her presence, her being -lifts me up like few others can.
