Little Hands & Little Feet Prepare - Chicago Area Photographer

Little hands and little feet prepare for the holidays... I was inspired by a friends blog for these sets of pics. Her blog was reflecting on what it would be like to experience the holidays through her child's eyes. As I thought about my own children, I thought maybe they can't tell me what they "see", but just maybe I can capture what their hands and feet have to say about it. :) So the day after hubby and I set out the tree and lights, I brought out their own mini tree and trim. I stayed back with camera in hand ready to click away and "see".

"Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children they are 30 feet tall." - Larry Wilde, author

"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps means a little bit more." - Dr Suess

"It is good to be children sometimes, and never better then at Christmas when it's might Founder was a child Himself ." - Charles Dickens

"There is nothing sadder in this world than to awake Christmas morning and not be a child." - Erma Bombeck writer

"The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other." - Burton Hillis poet

"Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time." - Laura Ingalls Wilder
