The Big 5 - Chicago Area Family Photojournalist

My little R turns 5 today! She is my spirited child and I love her so much.  She is so excited to be in Kindergarten this year.  Taking the bus is one of the highlights of the day.

God, thank you for choosing me to be her mama.  At times it is a challenging task but it is a task that I am so blessed with.  I pray that you guide us both.  Amen.

Coming Soon - Chicago Area Family Photojournalist

We are so blessed and excited that on both sides of the family (hubby and mine) there will be new additions.

Here are some images from my brother and SIL baby shower.  Her sister did a great job putting it together.

I took them away to take a few maternity portraits.  My SIL doesn't like to pose for pictures - it is like pulling teeth... LOL! I am so glad she did, she is absolutely stunning!

I can't wait to meet my niece or nephew.  :)

My Girl - Chicago Area Photojournalist

My beautiful M turns 7 tomorrow.  It is also her first day of second grade.  This summer, her goal was to read all of the Junie B Jones series before school started back up.  She read all 28 books except two that have not been checked back into the library yet.  I am so proud of her.

This is going to be a great school year.

She is a tad bit bossy.

Happy 7th Birthday my beautiful blue eyed girl.  I love you to pieces!

Florida Part II - Chicago Area Family Photojournalist

Here are the rest of our fun Florida trip images.  :)

I can't believe school is back in session tomorrow. Summer break is over. It's been the best one thus far. Can't wait for next summer.

Check out the double feature for today.... My big girl turns 7 tomorrow!

Toddler Fun - Chicago Area Family Photojournalist

Announcement: Starting next week look for my blog on Tuesdays.

"This is such a fun age."  When my kids were toddlers, I never understood why people would say that.  It's a run around after your mobile kid and make sure they don't get into anything dangerous stage.  This stage is tons of work for parents.

I sure did have fun with E.  She was very playful and shared lots of big laughs with me.
Her mama is doing a fantastic job keeping up with her.

This is such a fun age! :D
