V Family - Grayslake Family Photographer

Family sessions are so much fun! Especially when the family you are photographing has a special place in your heart.  The beautiful mom seen here is part of my village.  I am beyond grateful for the privilege to call her friend.

The other day I shared with my friend that I was thinking about putting down my camera for a little while.  She had encouraging thoughts and ideas, like good friends do.  But her presence, her being -lifts me up like few others can.

We have a new niece! Baby S is so tiny and beautiful.  We celebrated her new life and her brother's second birthday over the weekend.  It was such a happy occasion.  In a few days I will do a full newborn session and I am so excited about that!

Family Session - Grayslake Area Family Photographer

The weather almost cancelled this session.  It was meant to be.  Good thing I had the phone close by and I was up early on the weekend.  I've been hoping that I would get the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family.  Mom is my friend and the wonderful talent behind the pillows and shirts you've seen on my blog. I love collaborating with her. Check her stuff out.
